NDIS funding: We follow the NDIS pricing guidelines for our fees. We accept self-managed (you or your family pay your invoices) and plan-managed (you have a plan manager who pays your invoices for you) NDIS funding, but are not able to provide services to NDIA managed participants.
Other funding: Rebates may also be available through Medicare and Private health funds.
Speech pathologist: $193.99 per hour (50 minutes therapy, 10 minutes administration)
Social Work: $193.99 per hour (50 minutes therapy, 10 minutes administration)
Therapy Assistant: $86.79 per hour (client must see speech pathologist first)
As Therapy Assistants must operate under the guidance of a qualified therapist, every 6-8 sessions (depending on complexity) our therapy assistant and speech pathologist may need to have a training/therapy planning session without the client present, charged at $280.78 per hour to cover the time for both staff. Our speech pathologist may alternatively charge planning time without the presence of the therapy assistant.
Reports, stakeholder meetings, phone calls of reasonable duration, significant therapy planning, and development of resources will also be charged at the above rates.
*Our fees will be reviewed annually on July 1.
We believe that therapy should be affordable and accessible for everybody. There are a variety of ways that we can help to make therapy affordable, such as through use of skilled allied health assistants, group programs, tailored home programs, or partnered therapy, just to name a few.
If you are finding it difficult to find space for speech pathology assessment or therapy in your budget, please contact us for a chat to discuss your options.
Time charged for report writing includes the time it takes to score assessments and interpret results, and is at the same rate as therapy. Please note that if we do not receive 3 weeks’ notice for a report request, there may not be sufficient therapist time available to complete a report. To ensure that you get a report that is accurate and will be as effective as possible, please let us know early that you will need one written.
While most of our sessions are in clinic, we offer limited school or childcare observations or services at home/childcare or school. Travel time to and from these locations will be charged at the above rates, and a per km charge may be applied.
We are not generally able to fill appointment slots when clients cancel. Our cancellation policy is that you will be charged the full fee for an appointment if we receive less than 2 full business days' notice or if you fail to arrive for your appointment with no notice, unless we are able to fill the appointment time.
If you contact us prior to your appointment time, we may be able to use the time for other services such as resource development, or to convert the appointment to a telehealth session if this is suitable. For young children a telehealth session could include assessment or parent education. This means that you will still get value from your time, even if you can't make the appointment.
