OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY
Vanessa completed her Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (Honours) at Griffith University, Gold Coast, and is fully registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
As both a professional and a parent, Vanessa brings a unique perspective to her work. Raising two wonderful neurodivergent sons has provided her with invaluable insights and a deep understanding of the challenges faced by individuals and families.
Vanessa combines her extensive professional expertise with personal experience to support individuals of all ages and their families in overcoming challenges and building essential daily living skills. She is deeply committed to a holistic, evidence-based, and family-centred approach in her work with clients.
Vanessa is available to work with clients in clinic, through home visits, and via telehealth, offering flexible and accessible therapy options to meet the needs of each family.
Outside of work, Vanessa enjoys spending quality time with family and friends, tackling escape rooms, reading, and keeping up with the ‘lingo’ that her boys use!
SOCIAL WORK
James is a social worker with a diverse range of experiences and interests, particularly in Youth Mental Health and Alcohol and Other Drugs (AOD). As a dedicated LGBTIQ+ ally, he has worked in the community for several years, demonstrating a strong commitment to inclusivity and support.
James's experience working at Centrelink has provided him with valuable insight into navigating the complexities of Disability Support Pension (DSP) and other payments. His personal diagnosis of ADHD has fueled his passion for helping individuals overcome the barriers associated with this condition.
Outside of his professional life, James is an enthusiastic gamer who enjoys both board games and reading. He also has a keen interest in outdoor activities, especially bouldering (climbing).
CLINIC MANAGER
Jillian has extensive experience in clinic management and administration across several allied health clinics. She is passionate about making the process of getting health and disability services as smooth as possible, and supporting therapists to provide the best service possible.
